On October 11, 2023 China Digital Music Industry Conference was grandly opened in Xiamen. Mr. Sun Shoushan, Chairman of China Audiovisual and Digital Publishing Association (CADPA), reviewed the vigorous development of China's digital music industry in the decade of the new era. At this opening ceremony, Ao Ran, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of the China Audiovisual and Digital Publishing Association and Chairman of the Digital Music Working Committee, released the China Digital Music Industry Report (2022). As the first industry report in the field of digital music in China, the report reviewed the course of China's digital music development as a whole, summarized the important achievements made in the development of China's digital music in the decade of the new era, analyzed the basic situation of the development of China's digital music industry in 2022 as well as examined the trend of future development.

The report shows that the total scale of China's digital music market, including online music, music short video, music live broadcasting and online K-song business, will be about RMB 155.49 billion in 2022, a year-on-year growth of 16.8% compared with 2021. It is worth noting that the development of social attribute platforms such as live broadcasting and short videos has built up a music consumption scene based on trust and emotional ties, which has become the core driving force for the development of China's music industry.

In order to inspire China's digital music industry to continue to innovate and develop, the Digital Music Working Committee of China Audiovisual and Digital Publishing Association (CADPA) has joined hands with a number of digital music enterprises to launch an initiative to promote the high-quality development of China's digital music industry.
