The Moves Are Fake, but the Heart Is Real | Yin Liyao’s Second Lead Single from His Debut Album, “Invincible Fire Wheels,” Is Now Available!

2026/10/16

The second track from Yin Liyao’s debut album, “Invincible Fire Wheels,” has officially been released.

“Invincible Fire Wheels” was originally a signature move in Stephen Chow’s movie *The King of Destruction*, which helped the protagonist win by sheer luck. Yin Liyao cleverly adapted the film’s story to write his own “nonsensical love song.”

Much like the everyman characters in Stephen Chow’s films, Yin Liyao adopts an incredibly nuanced perspective to depict a sincere and endearing attitude in today’s society: when others are around, he relaxes, steps into the ring, and throws a few punches! When no one’s watching, he gives it his all—no talent required, just sheer hard work! It’s a clumsy yet dedicated effort, and he secretly rejoices at the thought of “becoming the person you imagine.” “Thank goodness no one saw me working so hard.”

Musically, Yin Liyao plays around with R&B in this track. The use of wobbly bass and distorted guitar gives the song a distinctive cartoon-like feel, as if two masters were facing off—move by move. The song opens right in the ring, and the story unfolds frame by frame with the melody. The addition of harmonies in the chorus softens the sound, revealing a slightly bittersweet mood beneath the absurd facade. The sampled movie soundtrack at the end adds an extra layer of fun to the song. With its retro beat and absurd romance, this playful, Yin-style love song is precisely what makes the entire track so captivating.

“Sorry, I stumbled into your heart by accident.”

The moves may be fake, but the feelings are real.
