In this highly atmospheric EP, singer-songwriter Mai Crisp transforms herself into a conceptualist, using her music to build a ‘HER WORLD’ that is romantically pure, melancholic and wandering, yet still warm.

Her name may or may not be Veronica. The point is that her name doesn't matter.

From the contradictory self-doubt at the beginning of the society, the sinking and thinking in love, from the innocence and ignorance to the painful rebirth - in such a process, she keeps defining herself, and with the most sincere body and heart, she feels the world's most real appearance, until she completes the final awakening.

Those dream fragments represent the process of her countless self-births, struggling and intermingling with each other.

In the five songs on HER by SUE, Mak conveys the five postures of ‘HER’: yearning, impulse, doubt, warmth, and memory. Love is a result of continuous evolution, a built-in programme in the genes, and an invisible mark of time in everyone's heart.

This is a diary belonging to her - about freedom, romance and ideals.

She watches every corner of the city and feels the love and pain in it. The city is like a huge sea of emotions, full of dark dreams, not bound by any rules or judgements, and she celebrates her inner freedom in the dance like no one else.

It's her gift to turn everything upside down.

02 HER's Romantic Melancholy Personality

Veronica

Sadness seemed to envelop her as if it were a nature, perhaps because the room was so quiet that time seemed to stand still, and not knowing how long had passed, Veronica decided to step out of the house; and when she came home, the plant on the balcony was still growing silently, and the red jumper would still be on the sofa.

She decides to break free from her actions and opens up the freedom to experience everything, to go out of her room and explore the real world, until she solves her own riddle and learns that love and hate are symbols of living life.

Live is a dangerous game, he versus she, she versus she, prey chasing each other in the fantasy land of the mind.

INTRO's vocals are her inner workings, and by the end of the song there is a confrontation and conflict between the two selves, where the ‘imaginary enemy’ takes on a real look and sound. It's an inner conflict and a doubt about sinking into a ‘Toxic Relationship’. The music visualises the emotions and presents the dark side of love.

The real enemy may not be other people, but the uneasy self inside.

A split double self, love desire and self-esteem limit pulling.

Gone, Wind" is her gentle declaration to the world.

It is the heart that remains pure even after a thousand sails have fallen, and the sense of juvenility that has not been erased even by the passage of time.
